Assistant Bookkeeper Job at Lotus Vaping Technologies, LLC
Lotus Vaping Technologies has an opening for a bookkeeper assistant. Our growing company is seeking a knowledgeable full-time bookkeeper to join our team.
This position will be responsible for maintaining accounting records for multiple accounts, primarily within Quickbooks Online. Strong communication skills are necessary to be a successful part of the team, as you will be working closely with our management team on a daily basis. A high level of organization and self-motivation is required to stay on top of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
Daily tasks include:
- Enter daily journal entries to record sales to Quickbooks
- Process reimbursements and issue checks as needed
- Daily bank reconciliation and recording transactions
- File and pay monthly sales tax in multiple states
- Manage and review income statements and balance sheets
- Reconcile credit card transactions, work alongside managers to resolve discrepancies
- Month end processing and reporting
- Bookkeeping clean up in preparation for year end closing
Qualifications:
Must have: bookkeeping experience or a degree in accounting.
Must maintain a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Must be willing to not wear perfumes, scented lotions or body sprays.
