SUMMARY:

Accountable for the physical custodianship, recordkeeping, and accounting for fixed assets (both tangible and intangible) and supplies inventories (hereafter "fixed assets" whether singular or in the plural). This includes computing and recording depreciation and amortization (hereafter "depreciation" whether singular or in the plural) and tracking and inventorying existing fixed assets, fixed asset additions and dispositions, and supplies inventories.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting.
• Two to three years of financial experience.
• One to two years of experience dealing with property insurance claims.
• Two to three years of experience operating fixed asset or inventory database software systems.
• Must possess Microsoft Excel experience and skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable with the Nation's insurance within 90 days of hire.
• Must be available to work the assigned schedule of M-F, 8:00A-4:30P and available as needed to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the position, which may include nights, weekends, holiday and overtime.
• Must possess the ability to operate general office equipment.
• Must possess professional work ethics, manner, and appearance.
• Must possess ability to communicate professionally; both orally and in writing a service-orientated approach, sometimes in stressful circumstances.
• Must be reliable, punctual and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
• A record of satisfactory attendance and performance in all prior and current employment.
