ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTER JOB DESCRIPTION

SEBREE Architects, Inc., has a strong 50-year history and an ambitious plan for future growth. We primarily design multifamily developments across the U.S. Additional project types include a mix of senior living, commercial, adaptive reuse, municipal, industrial, and parks and recreation facilities. Projects can range up to >$65M in construction value.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

A full-time experienced highly technical Architectural Drafter. This role requires assisting project architects with the development of projects from design development through the construction document phases.

· Education: Minimum Associate's degree of applied science in Architectural Technology/Drafting.

· Proficient with:

• o AutoCAD (2 years- Required)
• o Revit (2 years- Required)
• o Sketchup OR Lumion (1 year- Preferred)
• o Bluebeam (Preferred)

· Excellent written and presentation skills.

· Ability to quickly and effectively problem solve and design.

· Ability to handle ever-changing scenarios.

· Diverse knowledge and experience in the Architectural profession, Design processes, Construction trades, and Development process.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

· Manage project drafting during design phases

· Manage multiple projects and tasks to meet schedules and budgets

· Produce detailed design and construction drawings and documents

· Generate revisions from outline mock-ups, redlined drawings, and project document sets.

· Meet deadlines with effort and excellence

· Work independently and collaboratively

· Light travel may be required.

· Monday-Friday
