AR Account Administrator Job at CIVCO Medical Solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Process payments using cash application system and post payment batches in the accounting system
- Review credit holds and release sales orders
- Process customer credit card transactions
- Work with various customer portals to submit invoices and retrieve payment information
- Review and analyze aging report to initiate collection process with Direct customers
- Make daily collection calls and record all collection activity (phone calls/emails) in database
- Conduct account research and analysis to resolve accounts receivable issues with customers
- Analyze credit information to determine credit limit/terms for new customers
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Assist with other special projects as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Detailed oriented, professional attitude and reliable
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, general typing and 10-key by touch
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounts receivable experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, research and resolution skills and data analysis
