Job Title: AP Staff Accountant
Location: San Anselmo
Compensation: $75,000 to $85,000 annually
Job Summary:
A local client of ours in the Education Industry is looking for an AP Staff Accountant on a temp to hire basis. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate reporting and data verification. This is a Monday thru Friday role fully in office
Job Title Responsibilities:
- Reconcile general ledger accounts
- Record fixed assets additions/disposals and CIP along with depreciation entries
- Manage accounts payable process from beginning to end.
- Collect W-9 from vendors and generate 1099's annually
- Complete timely month end closes process
- Assist in preparing and completing documents/scheduled for annual audit
- Gather vendor data for annual 990 filings
- Corporate credit card reconciliation
- Complete escheatment process according to California rules and guidelines
- Set up templates for data import into accounting software
Job Title Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or 4+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Knowledge of Intacct software a plus
- Knowledge of Excel, Google Docs preferred
