Located on historic Cannery Row in downtown Monterey, Treasure Hunt: The Ride! is hiring Ride

Operators/Attendants for the Grand Opening of Monterey’s first fully immersive, interactive, Pirate- themed, dark ride adventure!

DWL Amusements is looking to hire reliable, fun, friendly and energetic individuals aged 18 or older to be members of our new team. We are seeking individuals who are responsible, punctual and highly motivated, with demonstrative verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic that proactively identifies tasks needed to be completed. The ideal candidates will ensure the safe operation of all aspects of the ride while guaranteeing an exceptional guest experience.

Selected candidates will receive training in all aspects of daily operations to perform the following:

Duties:

-Greet guests in a prompt, friendly manner and provide information about the ride experience

-Safely operate all functions of the ride

-Safely load and unload the ride

-Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are followed

-Enforce ride restrictions

-Accurately use the Point of Sales program to schedule tickets and process payments

-Sell tickets according to policies and procedures

-Verify tickets and booking time with each ticket redemption

-Perform other job-related duties as required

Qualifications &* Skills*:

-Must be at least 18 years of age

-Must be able to work in an environment that features loud sounds and flashing lights

-Must have interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with guests and coworkers

-Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with many distractions

-Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance

-Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekend and holidays

-Ability to stand or walk for the majority of shift

-Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations

-Contribute to a positive team environment that provides exceptional guest service

-Willingness to pick up shifts on short notice is a plus

Compensation:

-$18/hr. starting wage

-Raise to $19/hr. after completion of 90-day probation (based on excellent attendance and overall performance)

-Holiday hours paid out at 1.5x normal hourly rate

Benefits:

-Paid Sick Leave (STO): 3 days

-2 days of Vacation (PTO) available after 6 months of continuous, fulltime employment
