Summary

Our successful Alumni Coordinator candidate will be an organized, efficient, proactive and responsive self-starter. They’ll be authentic and passionate, demonstrating strong people skills while meeting patients where they are, conveying that “we care about YOU.” While they are directive and effective leaders, running a tight ship, they also practice staff engagement, ensuring everyone feels motivated, individually responsible, and also collaborative as part of a care team.

The most successful candidates will have some capacity with being entrepreneurial and nimble, as we are always developing new approaches throughout the business. They’ll flow well with what others call stress and be comfortable with addressing differences and conflict while simultaneously also humble and eager to receive and integrate feedback. They’ll demonstrate healthy and motivating ways of giving feedback as well. They’ll demonstrate bringing great care, integrity, and customer service to all they do.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for oversight of Alumni Services at Landmark and Praxis Recovery programs for two markets
• Present aftercare symposium in residential facilities weekly to promote alumni services and aftercare support for graduating patients
• Maintain active role in IOP programming to promote alumni services and aftercare support for graduating patients
• Participate actively in discharge process by educating and enrolling program graduates in alumni services
• Organize and facilitate monthly alumni events, semi-annual reunion events, and annual alumni conference
• Coordinate alumni and volunteer events and foster culture of volunteerism for alumni that supports Landmark facilities and programs as well as supports the brand vision at community events.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers to coordinate alumni and volunteer presence at community events.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community resources that support alumni recovery efforts (e.g., halfway houses or sober living).
• Host weekly alumni group
• Develop and monitor alumni social media platforms
• Support alumni via after hour calls and social media messages as needed
• Track Alumni Volunteers and Employees through our Employment Fast Track program
• Develop and distribute quarterly newsletter
• Up to 75% travel and attendance at evening and/or weekend activities, meetings, events, seminars, and workshops is anticipated with this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience will be considered
• Minimum 2 years in community facing role preferred
• Experience coordinating volunteers is preferred but not required
