Community Food Bank Of Eastern Okla Tulsa, OK 74106
Works to feed the hungry of eastern Oklahoma by supporting and advocating for the Food Bank’s network of Partner Agencies and engaging communities to end hunger.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Work with partner agencies in designated area (Counties: Creek, Osage, Tulsa) to address their concerns and enhance their capacity through implementation of best practices.
Collaborate with community organizations to address food security issues.
Conduct partner agency monitoring and maintain records.
Communicate capacity building and enrichment opportunities to partner agencies.
Provide technical assistance to potential and existing partner agencies.
Work with Food Bank staff to develop and evaluate the plan to meet Feeding America Meals per Person in Need (MPIN) standard and other Feeding America standards.
Frequently communicate with partner agencies through face-to-face visits, email, phone.
Participate in new partner agency orientation in conjunction with other Agency Services staff.
Participate and help plan agency engagement opportunities, including the quarterly webinar series.
Conduct training for partner agencies such as Agency Express, USDA and Civil Rights training as needed.
Assist in maintaining current partner agency records of monitor visits, monthly reports, USDA eligibility, required training and certification and other compliance related issues for designated area.
Advocate for partner agencies regarding internal policies and procedures, and continue to develop when improvements are needed.
Assist with the Partner Advisory Council meetings and annual Agency Conferences for designated area.
Participate in developing goals, objectives, and strategies for Agency Services in the departmental Plan of Work.
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent work experience in a related field preferred
Self-starter who can keep track of multiple projects in a fast- paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
Proficient in MS Office suite applications
