Full-Time Evening Aesthetics Faculty

Tennessee College of Applied Technology Murfreesboro is accepting applications for a full-time Evening Aesthetics Faculty.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have a high school diploma/GED, an active Cosmetology/Aesthetics Instructor’s License. Must be proficient in oral and written communication with a heavy emphasis on the ability to formulate and communicate ideas to individuals and/or groups. Must have the knowledge and ability to instruct, analyze, and solve student concerns. Previous teaching experience is a plus.
Description:
Develop, teach and update the theory and practical instruction of the curriculum; monitor and evaluate student progress; accurately maintain program and student records; daily lesson planning and delivery. Assist with student job placement and recruitment. Recruit high school students and develop support from high school instructors. Continue personal training and professional development to stay abreast of changes within the industry.
Job Requirements/Responsibilities:
Instruct, lead, mentor and motivate students to achieve success
Strong theory and State Board preparation
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in instructing practical skills
Instruct students effectively and prepare them for gainful employment
Develop strong industry partner relationships
Selected candidate must submit to and pass a background check.
Salary is commensurate with experience and according to salary guidelines established by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
