Vale Group has partnered with a publicly-traded company in the aerospace industry who is actively seeking an Aerospace Manufacturing Senior Buyer to work ON-SITE in Cleveland, OH (44103)
The ideal Aerospace Manufacturing Senior Buyer candidate will have experience in the processes of procurement related to manufacturing of aerospace components, including the sourcing of raw materials, negotiating contracts, developing budgetary plans, and inventory management.
The Aerospace Senior Buyer Opportunity includes an annual salary of $75,000 - $85,000 based on relevant industry experience, full benefits, PTO, 401k, and more.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop vendor relationships to facilitate the procurement of raw materials
- Create and execute contracts, pricing, and purchasing agreements
- Work closely with accounting and shipping departments to ensure PO accuracy and on-time delivery of materials
- In conjunction with the quality team, ensure that all raw materials received meet proper standards
- Maintain accurate inventory of materials and develop systems and processes to reduce waste, cut costs, and contribute to sustainability projects
- Maintain ERP and Vendor Management data centers
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Logistics or related field
- 2+ years experience in commodities purchasing, within aerospace components manufacturing or related industry
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office Suite, and SAP preferred
- Strong mathematical skills
