GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Under general supervision of the Program Director or Program Manager, plans, develops, organizes, and manages the daily operations of the assigned Agency Program or department within the expected parameters of the Agency and all other applicable federal, state, and local regulatory and/or accrediting agencies.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports directly to the Program Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES (illustrative and not intended as inclusive; specific responsibilities may vary):

GENERAL:
(1.) Ensures assigned Program team delivers quality program services in accordance with applicable contract terms, Agency-specific policies and procedures, and applicable governing bodies.

(2.) Ensures Program team’s fiscal management and utilization of the Agency’s financial resources.

(3.) Actively collaborates with other Agency Team Supervisors ensuring effective communication between Programs and Agency facilities.

(4.) Maintains a flexible work schedule.

(5.) Ensures accurate, professional, and timely completion of all required reports, logs, notes, and other paperwork as required by Program-specific procedures and/or the applicable contract terms.

(6.) Ensures accurate, professional, and timely completion of all Agency-required reports, paperwork, and filings.

(7.) Provides ongoing case management and weekly services to assigned Agency consumers and families, in coordination with the applicable referral source, as required by Program-specific procedures and/or the applicable contract terms.

(8.) Ensures accurate, professional, and timely completion of all court reports, attends court hearings as necessary, and ensures completion of all Court Disposition Forms after each hearing as necessary.

(9.) Performs other Agency-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY:
(1.) Directly supervises assigned Program team staff.

(2.) Aids in selecting and hiring Program team staff in compliance with the Agency’s Employment Policies & Procedures and Standards of Conduct.

(3.) Facilitates various staff meetings in a professional and timely manner.

(4.) Ensures timely completion of Agency related orientation and trainings for all subordinates.

(5.) Conducts general regular (at minimum bi-weekly) supervision of subordinates and administers appropriate disciplinary action when necessary, in compliance with the Agency’s Employment Policies & Procedures and Standards of Conduct.

(6.) Ensures that performance reviews of subordinates are completed fairly and accurately and in compliance with the Agency’s Employment Policies & Procedures and Standards of Conduct.

(7.) Performs other Agency-related duties as assigned.

(6.) Maintains as confidential all matters related to Agency affairs and refrains from internal and external discussions related to any employee, consumer, financial, or administrative issue except as required as part of job performance.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS (required at time of offer):
(1.) Master’s in Social Work or Human Service field and three year of child welfare work experience OR Bachelor degree in Social Work /Human Services related major plus 3 years experience and completed education contract to obtain a Master’s degree.

(2.) Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.

(3.) Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

(4.) Reliable transportation.

(5.) Prior experience working in a child placing agency preferred (but may be required by specific program contract or regulations.

(6.) Prior Supervisory experience preferred.

(7.) Able to work a flexible schedule, with “regular” business hours set by the Agency, including weekends and holidays, as required.

(8.) Prior experience with Microsoft Office and related applications or other IBM-compatible word processing program.

(9.) Satisfaction of all employment eligibility and Agency hiring requirements.
