Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position
is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

This position will directly support two Senior Executive Service (SES) directors within the Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate Office of Mission Capability and Support (MCS). This position will also work with the Front Office team to provide business, strategic, and administrative support to other members of MCS leadership. This entails support to enable leadership oversight of its Research and Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) portfolio and facilitate their efforts to analyze, introduce, and enhance technological products, services, systems, and capabilities to S&T’s stakeholders. This position offers opportunities to oversee internal S&T efforts and projects, provide timely responses to congressional and DHS-level direction, and advance senior leadership initiatives.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Organizing, compiling, and preparing information such as program accomplishments, process status updates, personnel structure changes and project management metrics for reporting to senior executive leadership.
  • Reviewing deliverables to ensure technical, programmatic, and financial goals and objectives are met.
  • Organizing and participating in all activities associated with assigned Task Order projects, including but not limited to: Stakeholder engagement, meeting organization, note-taking, after-action reports, action item delivery, and follow-up as appropriate.
  • Developing, documenting, and training others on improved processes to enable MCS’ communication such as reporting of current activities in MCS through a SharePoint calendar tool, review and revision of SOP communicating MCS Risk strategy, initializing and following up on Microlessons given by MCS staff, and revising the office’s SharePoint page to more clearly articulate information about MCS.
  • Representing office interests in DHS cross-functional collaborations by ensuring that the engagement is meeting stated MCS goals and working to achieve leadership’s objectives.
  • Providing strategic guidance on making processes more efficient and taking innovative action to advance senior leadership initiatives by ensuring MCS staff are properly motivated to achieve them.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience..
  • Applicants selected must be eligible to receive DHS Suitability.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience tracking multiple efforts and deliverables, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Demonstrated effective and strong communication skills.
  • Experience developing and maintaining spreadsheets.
  • Experience organizing and maintaining calendars for multuple managers.
  • Experience developing reports, minutes, memos, briefs, and correspondence.
  • Familiarity with federal travel processing policies and tools.
  • Experience maintaining and filing records.
  • Experienced Microsoft Word user, with typing and editing experience.
  • Experience monitoring taskings and data calls, distributing assignments, monitoring completion, and coordinating requests.
  • Candidates with a Secret clearance and DHS Suitability are strongly preferred.
