New River Community College (NRCC) is a comprehensive community college located in the New River Valley of Virginia. Provide high quality customer service to students and faculty at the college’s off-campus site in Christiansburg; assist students with the admission application process; registration for college classes; assist with collection of tuition payments. Support the college’s Online Learning program; administer tests; collect assignments; proctor tests for students from other colleges. Assist faculty in the use of electronic classrooms; and open the site as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Work hours are limited to 29 hours per week and no more than 1500 hours per year. Current NRCC students ineligible due to access to tests.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree or combination of work experience and coursework that would be equivalent to an associate degree. Demonstrated ability to use various computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population including students, faculty, staff and the general public in a professional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Work experience in an educational environment.
