Summary of Position
The faculty position is an instructional position directly responsible to the Director Gatesville SAC. The instructor’s duties and responsibilities are teaching students and performing a variety of administrative duties.
Minimum Required Education
Bachelor Degree in Math from a nationally, regionally, or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education.
Minimum Required Experience
One year teaching experience in the discipline preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must possess a demonstrated knowledge in the subject matter being taught and the ability to communicate with students in a clear manner and to author tests and lesson plans. Must possess the ability to provide academic and vocational guidance to students as needed.
Other Information
Must be willing to work with incarcerated students. Must meet TDCJ security requirements. Management reserves the right to change these duties and responsibilities at any time.
