At least two years working in a geriatric setting required.
Must be a CNA or willing to obtain this certification after hire.
Description
To lead activities and assess residents’ participation and satisfaction with engagement opportunities.
To be responsible for transporting and supervising residents on outings and guaranteeing food safety, as well as maintaining a safe physical environment.
To update and maintain individualized resident biographies and engagement preferences.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Provide patients who chose to remain in their rooms with adaptive engagement opportunities.
- Assist with escorting patients to and from daily activities.
- Maintain inventories.
- Coordinate and record Resident Council Minutes.
- Assist residents in recording personal histories.
- Enter living history information on IN2L computer system.
- Set up personalized resident activity profiles on IN2L computer system.
- Update individualized activity profiles at Maple Grove Memory Care
- Lead scheduled activities and events.
