We have an exciting new opportunity with Hawaii Foodservice Alliance, LLC. (HFA). This role will be responsible for receiving and processing payment transactions in accordance with HFA financial standards and guidelines. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will need to maintain ledgers, oversee invoices and bill processing, maintain spreadsheets and databases of important information.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables’ data
  • Prepare bills and invoices.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
  • Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status

WHAT WE’LL LOVE ABOUT YOU

  • Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination and related work experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately and independently
  • Food distribution or similar industry experience a plus
