Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Redmond, WA

Type: Direct Hire/Permanent

Pay: $60-70k / yr. DOE

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for an exciting medical devise manufacturing company. In this role, you’ll be responsible for being a contributing member of the accounting and finance team in providing tasks related to accounts payable and general accounting support. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in Accounts Payable looking to further their career in Accounting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Timely and accurately process and audit vendor invoices.
• Match open purchase orders with incoming invoices.
• Verify proper approval for vendor payments.
• Prepare weekly scheduled payments made via check, ACH & Wire.
• Validate banking information for electronic payments.
• Confirm all payments are coded to cash account prior to period close
• Prepare journal entries under management supervision and run month-end reporting for account reconciliations.
• Reconcile account balances as assigned
• Back-up A/R team with invoicing. Perform ad hoc request

Essential Qualifications

· High School Diploma or GED or equivalent

· 3+ years of previous experience in Accounts Payable

· Working knowledge of accounts payable principles and practices

· Excellent research and record-keeping skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Strong and effective communication skills, written and verbal

· Ability to perform independently and in a team-oriented environment

Bonus Skills

· Infor- ERP system

· Process Improvement Experience
