Accounting Clerk Job at Batesville
Batesville is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Vicksburg, MS. As an Accounting Clerk you will be responsible to compute, classify, record, and verify data for use in maintaining accounting records for the plant. Duties will include both A/P (accounts payable) and payroll processing, as well as various other duties.

What you’ll do:
- Manage spending control sheets, report and analyze variances
- A/P documentation filling
- Prepare plant payroll for processing
- Verifies and posts journal entries to the account ledger
- Compiles, reconciles, and distributes daily and monthly reports
- Assists employees, vendors, clients, or customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, or services.
- Other duties may be assigned
Basic Requirements:
- 3+ years of related experience
- Advanced Excel skills
Great to Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree preferred
- Prior experience with ADP
