Accounting Assistant Job at True Movement Tech
True Movement Tech is a premier manufacturer and provider of training and play equipment to the Sport Entertainment market. We provide the right equipment and attractions to the best in their sport: SkyZone, Cirque du Soleil, RedBull, Disney, Woodward, and more!
We are a small (10-20 employee) operation experiencing fast growth and opportunity. The ideal candidate will assist in handling accounting and administrative tasks pertaining to our business in internal, B2B and B2C financial aspects.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter data, maintain records and create reports
- Process purchase invoices and allocate appropriate costs for COGS
- Receive, review, approve and or decline invoices
- Work with an accountant when necessary
- Pay bills timely and handle administrative tasks
- Participate in month-end close and proper posting of monthly journal entries
- Maintain required business documents
- Identify process improvements and document
- Collection of past due balances
- B2B collections
Critical Skills
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task a must
- Ability to interpret and evaluate data
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience
- Professional written and verbal skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership to see tasks through from start to finish without constant oversight, reminder, or management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
