Accountant - REMOTE Job at ShorePoint Health Port Charlotte
Provide support to payroll, accounts payable, cashier and check processing coordinator. Assist Director with the implementation of new or modified accounting systems to provide complete and accurate financial & statistical reporting. Provide analysis and presentation of statistical and financial data in historical, projected, proposed and flexible contexts as needed. Responsible for assisting Director with general ledger accounting and financial reporting which include review of all accounting processes, testing for consistency with hospital policy and GAAP. Assists with monthly close, preparation of Monthly I/C billing with multiple facilities and Hospital Utilization Reporting. Perform general ledger account reconciliations & analysis and special projects as assigned.
Experience
Required- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to complete projects timely and accurately. Capable of working independently and collaboratively with a team. Excellent communication skills.
Education
Required- Bachelors or better in Finance or related field
- High School or better
