Position Summary:
The Account Executive (AE) supports partners segmented into the A2 grouping in selling Pax8 Services to their end customers. They help assess partner and customer needs, speak to services and solutions, and hold strong relationship. The AE has a strong understanding of every partner they work with.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Takes ownership and manages sales cycle, identifies prospects, and closes new business with the primary goal of driving revenue and increasing Pax8 market share
- Utilizes the Pax8 sales methodology and manages a six-month funnel
- Builds relationships with partner sales teams to strategize new sales opportunities
- Establishes a recurring meeting cadence with different individuals at the partner's organization
- Identifies and understands the partner's business objectives and serves as a cloud technology expert providing business solutions to resolve the partner's pain points
- Participates in team meetings, assists with developing the territory, and collaborates with other departments at Pax8
- Coordinates with SMEs and drives revenue (facilitates 1:1s) with POD Team
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least one (1) year with Pax8 and at least a Sales individual contributor level 4
- At least two (2) years of channel sales experience (VAR, Distributor, MSP, Vendor experience preferred)
- Experience and understanding with Force Management Methodology preferred
- Thrives in an energetic, competitive atmosphere
- Team player accountable for their own results
- Ability to consistently achieve revenue targets
- Experience handling opportunities from discovery to close won
- Open to working in-person with select partners on a quarterly basis and developing in-person sales skills
- Ability to acquire and/or demonstrate a solid understanding of business technology products and services for categories such as Productivity, Infrastructure, Continuity, Operations, Network & Connectivity, and Security, and can speak to the Platform Services and Partner Services we offer
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
- Completion of required Pax8 Elev8 LMS course work
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at an OTE of $121,275 or more depending on experience

- Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
