ACCOUNT CLERK/TYPIST - Chenango County's Probation Department and Behavioral Health have immediate openings for a full-time Account Clerk/Typist. Candidates must have a HS diploma or GED and EITHER an two years of full-time paid office clerical experience or its’ part-time equivalent; OR one year of full-time paid experience or its’ part-time equivalent in the compilation and maintenance of financial accounts and records; OR successful completion of a post high school course in accounting or bookkeeping; OR an equivalent combination of raining and experience as defined above.
The position pays $17.50 per hour and includes a full benefits package. Successful completion of a civil service examination will be required for permanent appointment.
