Overview:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
PURPOSE:
Keep unauthorized people and vehicles off company property. Observe and guard parking area. Communicate and report anything suspicious to the supervisor.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
Verify appointments at the plant before entering. Prohibit individuals from entering without valid appointments. Keep unauthorized people and vehicles off property. Weigh and receive incoming carrot loads. Weigh and record proper documentation for incoming loads of carrots. Weigh in all refrigerated trucks/trailers as needed. Follow instructions of the supervisor. Retain all related reports. Obtain and input information in computer system as needed. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have basic computer program experience
- Must be reliable and have excellent communication skills
- Must have great attendance record
- Must be professional and capable of working with others
- Must be bi-lingual, English/Spanish, with the ability to speak, read, and write in both
- Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation. Must pass background check.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position throughout much of the working day. Ability to inspect equipment. Ability to work outdoors. Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment. Must be able to work in different temperatures (working temperatures as hot as 100° to 110° F and as cold -20° to 34° F). Must be able to work in a high noise area. Must be able to move items weighing up to 25 lbs.
