7 Hour Food Service Cook/Baker Job at Cheektowaga-Sloan UFSD
Position Title: 7-hour Food Service Cook/Baker
Location: John F. Kennedy Middle/High School
Hours: 10-month position (September - June)
Reports to: Food Service Director
Salary/Pay Scale: Per the CSEA Contract
Job Duties may include (but are not limited to):
- Prepare middle school breakfasts, prep carts and serve students in middle school corridor.
- Prepare all necessary baked goods according to specifications.
- Monthly inventory of stock room and weekly ordering.
- Organize all special function orders.
- Assist in meal service and cashing out students using Point of Sale (POS) system. Assist cook
- managers with lunch preparation, if needed. Assist in timely clean-up of leftovers, general clean up
- and sanitation of kitchen and serving area.
- Maintain standardized recipes for production area.
- Complete combined lunch deposit for JFK.
- Assist in dish room and with laundry.
- Any additional duties as assigned by the Food Service Director.
Note: Special duties may be assigned by the Food Service Director or Cook Manager in Charge when
the need arises. Licenses and Certificates: Cook/Baker will need at least 6 hours of continuing
education/training per school year.
