Little Tulip Daycare Center of Little Neck is hiring a 3K teacher assistant for our 3K classroom. If you are an Early Childhood educator, whose core value, is to work together as a team to give each child the foundations to thrive, we need to talk, today!
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for young children
- Assisting lead teacher with carrying out lesson plans
- Helping children use the bathroom or, when necessary, changing diapers
- Handling basic hygiene needs such as handwashing
- Preparing children for and supervising them during naptime
- Preparing and serving lunch or healthy snacks
- Observing children for developmental problems and other concerns—and passing this information on to the preschool teacher
- Supporting lead teacher with preferred classroom management and discipline strategies
- Participate and help with parent-teacher conferences as needed
- Other work as needed
Hours: 9 am to 6 pm, 12 months
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
