We are seeking a highly motivated Team Members who are ready to better them selfs and are also willing to take more responsibilities within Assembly Department.

The Team Leaders are supporting Assembly Supervisors and Assembly Team Members. They are managing production staff and processes by directing production team members to produce quality products, answer question, provide direction, resolve conflict, provide guidance and training.

We are adding 3 Team Leaders on our 1st Shift and 3 Team Leaders on our 2nd Shift.

In this role you will be responsible but not limited to:

• Assign Jumpers and Assemblers to their assembly areas.
• Ensuring employees area provided with appropriate training on newly assigned assembly lines, track progress, provide guidance and manage ongoing cross training of employees.
• Ensuring team is producing the right quantity and quality products in accordance with procedures.
• Gather production data (QTU, SCRAP) from the assembly cell. Verify for accuracy and report to supervisor.
• Maintain BDE Data
• Perform 2 hours Quality Inspection, Verify Red Rabbits, First Piece Release, Machines are running without issue, Parts & Components are supplied on time, Working Instruction & Quality Alerts Sign Off
• It's liaison between the Supervisors and Team Members; provide guidance in work environment related to job related questions, quality, employee matters
• Inform Team Member about any pertinent information to production (Quality issues, Overtime Schedules, etc.)

• Oversee 6S within the assigned area.
• Communicates and Notifies issues to supervisor, as they arise.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Follow instructions given by supervisor.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

• Minimum 2 years of assembly operator experience within Dr. Schneider Automotive Systems
• Good attendance records (Less than 0.5 occurrence)
• Good Computer Skills

• Must be able to maintain regular and predictable attendance; the ability work overtime.
• Effective leadership skills.
• Organizational skills & Time Management Skills.
• Strong interpersonal, decision making & problem solving skills.
