Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver engaging lessons with special emphasis on collaborative and "hands-on" experiences
- Work collaboratively to create and implement a program of study that is intellectually challenging
- Follow prescribe curriculum, supplementing as necessary
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests (differentiated instruction)
- Advise students in areas of character and morality
- Effectively manage the classroom
- Maintain frequent contact with ALCS families
- Implement ALCS policies and procedures
Requirements/ Qualifications
- Must have a solid Christian testimony as well as a calling to minister to students
- Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university
- ACSI teacher certification required or the willingness to pursue ACSI certification
- At least one year experience teaching
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $32.00 per hour
