Job Details for the Insurance Verification Representative:

• Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday 1:00pm - 9:30pm - 2nd Shift
• Pay rate: $21.09 - $23.09 (based off experience)
• Direct hire

Job Responsibilities & Description for the Insurance Verification Representative: As an insurance verification representative you'll be responsible for providing administrative support for the reimbursement department.

• Verify benefits eligibility
• Assist with the order fulfillment process
• Patient record keeping

Job Requirements for the Insurance Verification Representative:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience at Highmark, Premier Medical, UPMC, Excela Health, Butler Health, Med Express is a plus, but not required
• Minimum of 1 year insurance verification or experience in a related field (benefits verification, insurance claims, reimbursement, authorization, patient record keeping, patient intake/registration, processing medical orders, medical customer service)
