Job Summary
The Bucco Brigade are the gameday staff members responsible for executing all in-game entertainment for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Members will be asked to work games, as well as non-gameday related events in the ballpark and will be serving as community ambassadors while attending various community functions promoting Pirates Baseball.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the execution of all inning break activities that include, t-shirt tosses, holding the finish line of The Great Pittsburgh Pierogi Race, Raise the Jolly Roger, and other in-game features.
- Responsible for all prep work for each inning break.
- Responsible for the execution of the STEM Zone (Pitch Metrics, Broadcast Booth, VR Home Run Derby).
- Responsible for the execution of Kid's Sunday events that include Kids Fun Zone on Federal Street (pre-game) and Kids Run the Bases (post-game).
- Candidates will be trained on pre-game activities such as balloon twisting, t-shirt toss, etc.
- Assist with Pierogi appearances, either as a character or assisting characters at community functions and home games.
- Other duties as assigned by the Marketing and Gameday Presentation departments.
