Harmony Farm Supply and Nursery, known for its outstanding knowledge of organic/sustainable farming and gardening practices, is currently seeking a responsible, energetic, good-natured, and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Yard Inventory Coordinator at our Petaluma facility.

This coordinator will manage the flow of inventory entering and leaving the yard. This full-time position will report directly to the Store Manager. Weekend availability and a clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities include:

· Inventory oversight

· Receiving, stocking, sorting and ordering inventory

· Performing inventory checks and cycle counts

· Unloading trucks

· Loading customer vehicles

· Order fulfillment (picking/packing/processing)

· Customer Service, product knowledge and advisement

· POS transactions and cash register operation, as necessary

· Opening and/or closing duties

· Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

· Communication – Able to communicate effectively with Management and Purchasing team as well as colleagues, customers, and vendors. Able to report all relevant issues clearly and in a timely manner.

· Attention to Detail – Possesses an acute attention to detail – Accurate with basic math and data entry skills. Organizational skills, and maintenance.

· Safety Oriented – Excellent attention to safety. Able to safely transport heavy inventory, operate a forklift, load customer vehicles, use ladders, avoid and recognize heat stress.

· Basic Computer Knowledge – Familiarity with computers and software based POS/inventory systems.

· Physical Ability – Physically fit, able to be on one’s feet for extended periods of time, primarily outdoors. A qualified candidate will be able to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally, and 50 lbs often.

· Prioritization – Ability to prioritize. Must be able to multi task and be decisive in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:

Starting at $17-20 / hourly, depending on skills and/or experience
