Summary

Provide customer service including but not limited to maintaining a solid customer relationship, handling questions and concerns with speed, accuracy and professionalism. Prepare new losses in the system on receipt of C2, C3 or WCB Notice; including reserves for lost and no-lost time cases within 48 hours of receipt.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • CMS Reporting.

  • Receive Workers' Compensation Board mail.

  • Respond to child support verification.

  • Receive and place telephone calls to and from insured, claimant, medical providers, attorneys and the Workers’ Compensation Board.

  • Research NOT-IN System and send appropriate correspondence.

  • Assist Supervisor with the hearing calendar including but not limited to importing the hearing notices and write-up and sending hearing preps to attorneys.

  • Take claimant statements.

  • Perform data entry tasks using various software programs.

  • Support the team leader/manager's assistant with 3rd party lien documents and end of month reporting.

  • Process file copy requests.

  • Support the Intake Unit as needed.

    Qualifications

  • Diagnostic coding.

  • Working knowledge of medical claims.

  • Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Word and Excel.

  • Data entry.
