Metal fabrication shop looking for a skilled, versatile, hard-working Laser/Waterjet operator who can be an asset to our fast-paced and growing business. This is a long-term, full-time (40+ hours/week) opportunity; You Must be able to work a 4/10 schedule, Monday -Thursday 6:30 am to 5:00 pm OR Thursday - Sunday 6:30 am-5 Pm, and occasional overtime as needed.

The qualified candidate MUST possess and be proficient in the following skills:
-Able to program and operate an Omax Waterjet and or AMADA Laser
- 2+ years of experience programming or operating a waterjet/or laser
- Able to work independently based on assigned tasks,
-Move materials to/from machines
- Familiar with different types and grades of metal
- Reading drawings and blueprints
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers,
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
Other requirements:
- Able to lift 50-75 lbs
- Mechanically inclined
- Forklift operation
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong shop environmental and safety awareness skills.
- Ability to follow written & oral instructions
- Good communication & ability to work in a team environment
- HS diploma or GED
Compensation will be based on experience!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
