Job Title: Warranty Administrator
Reports to: Service Manager
Pay rate: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour plus bonus, based on experience
Position Summary: The Warranty Administrator is responsible for coordinating warranty service including customer communications and paperwork. Manage TRAC rental program and vehicles.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee coding, submission and compliance of the warranty department.- Review warranty schedule.
- Assist Service manager with warranty issues.
- Manage TRAC rentals.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Professional Qualifications:
Strong computer skills including hands-on experience with Windows, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel), Service Management Systems and effective use of a Smartphone.
Specific Credentials:
High school diploma or the equivalent- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company and customer vehicles as necessary.
- Automotive experience required
- Toyota Experience plus
- TRAC rental experience
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Frequently works on a computer or doing other “close vision” work. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Occasionally requires the ability to lift 20 pounds of material. Is potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle dealership. Occasionally, exposed to loud noise, exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
