General Purpose: The Outbound Operations Analyst handles all aspects of the outbound operation with a focus on packing and shipping.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and clean outbound operation and shipping office.
- Work with both Pickers and Packers to ensure proper workflow.
- Work with Customer Service to ensure proper allocations and release of orders.
- Work with the Inventory Department to address shortages with orders.
- Notify the Inventory department on the coordination of material from off-site warehouses.
- Maintain a daily order sweep of the shipping department.
- Work with other internal departments to ensure proper shipment (testing, repair, calibration, etc.)
- Supervise carrier pick ups.
- Interact with couriers and common carriers on scheduling and pick ups.
Education/Experience Required:
- Associate’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years in a pick/pack warehouse environment.
Computer Skills Necessary:
- Microsoft Office
- Warehouse Management Systems (Accellos and Warehouse Edge a plus)
- ERP systems – Great Plains and SAP B1.
- Dematic multi-shuttle is a plus.
Physical Demands/Requirements:
- Some physical work (picking/packing) in the warehouse.
- Occasional cycle counting and quality inspections.
- Shipping office.
Work Environment:
- Warehouse and office.
- Hours are 10:00 -7:00 with the ability to work overtime.
- Weekend coverage on an as needed basis
