We are looking for an organized warehouse manager to supervise the receipt, dispatching, and storage of merchandise in our warehouse. The warehouse manager will oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative functions. You will oversee, train, evaluate and reward staff. You will ensure the maintenance of company assets. To ensure success you need to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and perform your duties in a manner that maximizes team cohesion and productivity. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans and organizes daily activities related to production and operations.
  • Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
  • Coordinates with other support departments such as human resources, finance, and logistics to ensure successful production operations.
  • Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Ability to maintain warehouse staff by orienting, and training employees.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
  • Oversees the shipping and receiving functions.
  • Determines labor needs to meet production goals.
  • Assists with budget preparation for the operations unit.
  • Assists with, or prepares and updates, organizations operations manual and policies.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field (Preferred)
  • 5-7 years experience (Preferred)
  • Confidence in continuously improving staff performance by actively coaching and counseling.
  • Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of operations and production management.
  • Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set production goals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
