Lead Responsibilities:
- Provide work task direction to hourly teammembers
- Train/guide hourly team on specific routine tasks
- Safety: follow all policy and procedures and provide reminders to hourly team as needed, escalate issues as needed for support
- Quality: follow all quality objectives and goal for each customer escalate issues as needed for support

Put-away, Picking, Staging and Shipping Duties:
- Responsible for supporting job task training for warehouse personnel and those transferring into the department to support the team either long term or short term.
- Provide support in promoting, implementing, and improvement of all safety policies, programs and 5s initiatives to ensure the health and safety of all employees; examples are phones, ear buds, open cups, etc.
- Report any employee or process concerns to department manager or supervisor as applicable.
- Monitors routine to maximize efficiency of equipment and manpower on the movement, flow, quality, and separation of outbound orders from production and warehousing to loading.
- Ensure proper put-a-way of finished goods, proper picking and staging for orders, timely loading and unloading of trucks and support cart management and production team as needed.
- Analyze facts or circumstances surrounding problems and concerns to determine and recommend possible alternatives and/or corrective action. Escalate to supervisor or coordinators for support when stuck.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management. Promote, support, and participate in all company policies, procedures, and programs.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge and/or applicable job experience – warehouse environment
- Ability to drive various mobile equipment and maintain certification
- Comfortable looking up information in various data bases (training provided)
- Being able to work unsupervised at times, ability to multitask, flexible and self-starter with a positive attitude
- Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills; interaction with a variety of skills and experience levels within the organization
- Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful
- Must be able to sit, bend, twist, stoop, stand and walk for at least 3 hours at a stretch, over 10-hour shift, with 15-minute breaks
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs
