Kellogg Supply Company in Manteo, NC is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team!
Primary Responsibility:
Driftwood Yard and Warehouse (DW) Operations and Box Truck Loading/Staging
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain existing inventory and organize incoming deliveries at the Driftwood Warehouse and yard.
- Pull and stage loads for delivery from DW
- Receive and unload incoming materials. Co-ordinate with Receiver.
- Maintain DW yard and warehouse (inspections/grounds/maintenance)
- Stage/Load box trucks for delivery
- Aid in product assembly as needed
- Aid in Manteo location Operations as needed.
- All other job-related activities assigned by Supervisor
Experience/Skills:
- Outstanding customer service skills * Computer literacy
- Knowledge of building products and how they are sold.
- Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Proficient with POS systems (building supply specific a plus) - will train
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Building products knowledge and/or sales experience
- Ability to handle and maneuver stock and deliveries weighing up to 100lbs.
- Ability to stand and be mobile for prolonged periods
Work Environment: Kellogg Supply Company is an independently owned and operated building supply company. Pay: From $15.00 per hour
