This is a temp to hire position. The main duty of the testing technician is testing and assessing of hard drives, in a warehouse setting. The testing technician may test hard drives using a variety of techniques, checking that Horizon specifications are met and that the hard drive works as intended. Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
- General warehouse work.
- Performs tests as directed by Horizon specifications.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Prepare electronic components for shipping.
- Conducting daily backup operations.
- Managing technical documentation.
- Work with legacy computer parts.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in computer hardware and software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
