Job Summary: The Warehouse Associate will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing floor, which include but not limited to planning, organizing, and directing activities within the warehouse.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Planning, organizing, and directing activities within the warehouse to ensure that inventory levels are maintained
• Become an expert in all areas of the warehouse and warehouse responsibilities
• Communicating with management to ensure that orders are fulfilled according to schedule
• Monitoring employee productivity, and taking steps to improve performance where necessary
• Reviewing inventory records to ensure that the correct amount of product is available for use
• Ensuring that all warehouse equipment is working properly and that safety procedures are followed
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of orders
• Performing physical labor such as lifting, moving inventory to storage areas, or cleaning workspaces
• Assist in overseeing the flow of inventory through the warehouse by ensuring that it is accurately stored and cataloged

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Be able to work with a team and be a team player, not afraid to step in and assist in other departments
• Ability to communicate with customers effectively when needed
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Basic math and computer skills
• Able to understand and comprehend measurement
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to follow proper safety protocols

Education and Experience:

• 2+yrs experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing environment
• Basic experience with hand tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED
• Must be 18 years old

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in noisy environments
• Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping
• Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work
• Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials
