General Job Description:
The Vice Principal serves as a member of the Administrative Team of Leman Academy of Excellence
(LAE) to help develop and implement the total school program, assisting the Principal with the
general leadership and administration of LAE consistent with School Board approved mission,
philosophy, guiding principles, policies, and annual budgetary commitments/constraints.
Line of Authority/Reports to: Principal
Works with: The Vice Principal will work with the Principal, Instructional Coach, Teachers, support
staff, and Head of Schools.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s in Educational Leadership.
- AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card / Background and Criminal History Clearance.
- First Aid and CPR Certification.
- At least three years of successful teaching experience.
- Proven leadership ability promoting collaborative decision making.

Expectations:
- Participate in Leadership Summit in July
- Shepherd and instructional coach assigned teachers with consistency and purpose

teachers, and being available throughout the week to help and serve assigned teachers.

- Work with Professional Development Coordinator to solve challenges as they arise
