WCEC USHER STAFF POSITION SUMMARY:

The Wind Creek Event Center, an established independent live entertainment venue with an extremely positive industry reputation, has excellent and immediate openings for Usher Staff team members at the venue. This entertainment venue, which seats up to 3,500 people, has had acts such as Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, The Killers, Bill Burr, Sebastian Maniscalco & many more.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position provides overall guest services in all of the front of house areas including services for persons with disabilities, during all ticketed events, and with the ability to function in all capacities within the department to include but not limited to, ticket taking, wrist banding, seating, and all show or event related responsibilities. This staff works in conjunction with the venue security staff, and reports directly to the venue security director.

Previous usher, and or high volume customer service experience preferred. Multi-lingual abilities are helpful as well.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Take tickets at any of the venue entrances to the Wind Creek Event Center • Seat guests according to ticket numbers, and assist guests with all questions and/or concerns

Monitor door entrances and exits and all passenger elevators, keeping unauthorized persons out of restricted areas. Also assisting with egress from the building upon show completion, or venue evacuation scenario

Handle all needs for guests with disabilities including ticketing, entrance/exiting, seating, and overall ADA compliance • Patrols and maintains front of house area of the Wind Creek Event Center, ensuring that all these areas are clean, safe, and secure

Notify security director, supervisors, and any pertinent venue manager of all issues/incidents. Must be able to provide statements to local law enforcement if necessary, and also write clear/detailed reports of any incident in the venue’s security log book

Perform other duties as assigned, to include but not limited to, removal of venue chairs in certain post show scenarios, private event opportunities etc.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

Job Type: Part-time Salary: $10.00 /hour
