We are a locally owned company in the heart of Plant Riverside in historic Savannah, GA. Urban Poppy began as a wedding and event floral design company and quickly grew to include daily flower orders with a small lifestyle boutique in our original Abercorn Street location. Our Plant Riverside location opened two years ago and is currently looking for a passionate and outgoing person to join our growing business. The botanical boutique features our flower bar where we sell fresh flowers by the stem, along with our favorite all natural and simply curated brands of bath, body, home decor and much more.

We are looking for someone to bring a customer first mindset and a passion for providing a personalized and inspiring shopping experience that exceeds the customers' expectations. This right candidate will work directly with the Store Manager on a regular basis to fulfill sales goals, daily cleaning tasks, plant and flower care, and some inventory duties.

Our boutique is located in a very busy tourist area on the corner of the JW Marriott Plant Riverside. We need someone who loves not only selling amazing products and flowers but who also genuinely loves people. Have a go-getter attitude? Are you able to stand and work on your feet in a fast paced boutique like setting? Do you love making people smile? Are you excited about product and flower knowledge? We have the perfect opportunity for you to join us in the heart of the most charming southern city doing just that. This is a part time role with limited 15-20 hours a week. We require that you have at least one year retail experience in a busy customer facing role. This position has the potential to become full time for the right person in time.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Greeting all guests that enter and exit the store.

Have basic Shopify POS knowledge or the ability to learn how to run our POS system.

Ring up guests at the counter, count change properly, and complete a sale.

Interact with guests within the boutique and provide them with information about any and all products. ( Product and floral knowledge will be taught to every associate )

Have the ability to stand 4-8 hours a day.

Complete daily cleaning tasks and opening and closing procedures provided by the Store Manager.

Daily Plant and flower care.

Floral knowledge is a plus but not required.

Have a professional attitude and well kept grooming standards.

Attention to detail and keeping a clean workstation is a must.

Available to work some holidays and the busy holidays seasons.

We are closed on Sundays.
