As an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator in our upscale dental office with two great locations, you will play a key role in providing exceptional patient care and delivering an outstanding patient experience. You will work closely with our orthodontists, team members, and patients to ensure smooth and efficient orthodontic treatment processes, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
Patient Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients seeking orthodontic treatment. Schedule and coordinate appointments, consultations, and follow-up visits. Educate patients on orthodontic treatment options, procedures, and expected outcomes. Provide accurate and detailed information about financials, insurance coverage, and payment plans. Ensure that patient records and information are updated, accurate, and confidentially maintained.
Treatment Planning and Case Presentation: Assist orthodontists in preparing and presenting comprehensive treatment plans to patients. Utilize your knowledge of orthodontic procedures, treatment timelines, and costs to help patients understand their treatment options and make informed decisions. Address patients' questions, concerns, and expectations with empathy, professionalism, and excellent communication skills.
Financial Coordination: Work with patients to discuss financial arrangements, insurance coverage, and payment options. Provide estimates of treatment costs, prepare financial agreements, and collect payments. Collaborate with the billing department to verify insurance benefits, submit claims, and resolve any billing or insurance-related issues.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with our orthodontists and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow and treatment coordination. Communicate regularly and effectively with the orthodontic team, front office staff, and other departments to coordinate patient appointments, records, and billing. Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Patient Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, providing excellent customer service and patient care. Address patient concerns and feedback with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-oriented approach. Foster a welcoming, friendly, and supportive environment that reflects our upscale office standards and promotes patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator in a dental office.
- Strong knowledge with treatment planning, and financial arrangements.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Must be bilingual-SPANISH), with the ability to explain complex dental concepts in a simple and understandable manner to patients.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records and information.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with a team, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Proficient in dental software and technology, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
