Training Specialist II Job at Azimuth Corporation
Position Summary
Azimuth Corporation is searching for a potential Training Specialist II in support of curriculum development for a government customer at NSWC Indian Head, MD (IHD). Technical areas of curriculum development may include technical processes, science and technology, project management, safety, systems engineering, quality, business, and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and supervise training and development programs for employees and external customers.
- Plan and develop programs.
- Identify and assess training needs by researching problems.
- Help employees develop new skills and enhance productivity while improving the quality of work.
- Set up teaching materials and lesson plans prior to classes.
- Involve the class and issue completion certificates at the end of the class.
- Plan, organize, and direct a wide range of training activities.
- Respond to corporate and worker service requests.
- Consult with onsite supervisors regarding available performance improvement services.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Psychology, or related Training Systems discipline
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in curriculum development
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to perform administrative duties as necessary
- Secret Clearance Required: Applicants selected will be subject to a security clearance check and/or a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Physical Requirements / Travel
- This position has remote flexibility but will be in support of a physical work site in Indian Head, Maryland. Strong preference will be given candidates who can support from the Maryland location, or our Dayton, OH headquarters location.
