Traffic Control Flaggers

Flaggers needed immediately in the Portland metro and surrounding area!

Certified flaggers receive a $300 signing bonus! Once you are hired with us, work 20 days and receive your bonus, no other conditions or fine print!

If you are new to this industry, we are willing to provide the flagger certification, training, hard hat, vest and stop/slow paddle to approved candidates. That is a $250 value! We need flaggers and are willing to give the right candidates the opportunity to try a different career path, saving you the standard investment in flagging certification and PPE (Personal
Protective Equipment).

Essential Qualifications:

• Valid Oregon or Washington driver’s license
• Personal, reliable motor vehicle
• Cell Phone
• Basic conversant English
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on occasion
• Ability to stand 4 or more hours at a time

Applicants without the above minimum criteria will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Flagger Certification preferred but not required.
• Willing to work overtime and in all types of weather conditions.
• Dependable and able to commit to long hours of work when necessary.

Schedule:

• Part-time, variable hour position. If you are flexible and willing to work most employees work over 30 hours per week.
• Most shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday, approximately 7am-4pm, plus some weekend, overnight, storm and occasional overtime.

Compensation:

• $17.68 -$21.22 per hour depending on experience for currently certified flaggers.
• We will apply all verifiable hours (from other companies) towards the Union Pay Cap (400 hours) at $21.22 an hour. Hours must be verifiable and are credited towards hourly starting rate, but are not used to qualify for benefits.
• Paid weekly.
