Wage: $30/hr.
Hours:
- First shift: 7 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday
- Second shift: 3:30 pm - 12 am, Monday - Friday

Duties of the tool and die maker:
- Plans, designs, constructs, or repairs a wide variety of intricate and complicated tools, dies, jigs, gauges, fixtures, to close tolerances.
- Selects allowances and devises mechanism detail.
- Performs difficult tool room machine operations. This includes CAD/KEY, CNC lathe, and other technologies (as these technologies exist or arise) required to perform toolroom operations.
- Works from complicated drawings and sketches.
- Use advanced shop mathematics and all types of precision measuring instruments.
Requirements of the tool and die maker:
- Toolmaker: die toolmaker forming dies; semi-permanent dies; and completing layout work. 4 years (Preferred)
- Familiar with short-run stamping tooling through progressive dies
- A high degree of experience and trade skills and thorough knowledge of machine shop practice.
