TERRAIN PARK CREW (SEASONAL) Job at Donner Ski Ranch
Overview
The terrain park crew is the backbone of the department and is responsible for everything functioning properly on a daily basis. They provide a presence in the park, educating riders on etiquette and safety while maintaining and inspecting features. Shaping with shovels and other tools, as well as adjusting rope lines and signage and inspecting features are on a typical day’s agenda.
Responsibilities
Open and inspect park every day.
Repair any downed roping or signage.
Provide feature maintenance as needed or directed throughout the day.
Be warm and welcoming to guests.
Have a presence in the park and advocate safe riding and etiquette.
Maintain a neat and safe work environment.
Cooperate well with other departments and provide a helping hand.
Qualifications
Judgment
Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; Makes timely decisions.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the Team Member is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; extreme cold. The Team Member is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
