Job Summary
The Center for BrainHealth at the University of Texas at Dallas is seeking a Temporary Part Time Social Media Advertising Manager to start immediately. Main role is to manage campaign deployment, ad optimization and testing, and ad performance reporting by campaign as part of a test-and-learn culture. This role will report to the Digital Brand Manager.
Minimum Education and Experience

.High school graduate or equivalent.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • 3+ years’ recent experience creating and running in-platform Meta paid social ads, including planning, buying, optimization, and reporting.
  • High comfort working with designer on ad creative, including writing creative briefs, providing recommendations based on campaign performance and needs.
  • Some LinkedIn and YouTube experience needed.
  • Partner relationship and co-branding campaign execution experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an advanced working knowledge of Excel and Airtable.
  • Experience with Google Data Studio.
  • Facebook Blueprint Certification and Facebook Pixel implementation knowledge a plus.
  • Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and presentation.
  • Flawless attention to detail.
  • Some design capability and background a plus.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Able to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Project management, problem solving, and organizational skills are essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Build and launch campaigns on Meta (Facebook, Instagram)
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the organization’s business objectives and audiences to identify opportunities for campaign optimization and keyword expansion
  • Lead, strengthen, streamline, and document existing processes into best practices which can be shared across the team – both paid and organic social media execution
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of automated systems for reporting, i.e. custom reporting dashboards in Google Data Studio
  • Lead analytics review and recommendations
  • Assist with the maintenance of digital assets (link maintenance, video descriptions, tags, etc)
  • Grow social media channels through organic and paid strategies – specifically planned expansion into LinkedIn and YouTube for new audience growth
  • Main point of contact for partner, sponsor and community partner relationships with social media needs for partnership campaigns and/or co-branded projects or posts
  • Actively research and keep up with paid media trends and highlights and share knowledge, resources, with the paid media team. Research, gather organic social content that could be used in paid media campaigns and supports the voice, and tone of the organization’s brand
  • Identify and execute marketing opportunities with new technologies and partners
  • Maintain brand “voice” in all outgoing communications

The position is eligible for benefits. Assignment will work 30 hours per week and is expected to end on or around 12/31/2023.

Hybrid remote work environment available and a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement is required upon employment. Use of personal computer and other standard office equipment may be required. Must be located within the State of Texas (or Must be located within the DFW Area) and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice.
