Job Summary:

Industry-leading developer Camillo Properties is seeking a motivated professional to join our team as Tax Senior. The role offers an exciting, career-building opportunity to engage in a broad range of tax projects for an ultra-high-net worth family as part of the Family Office for Camillo Properties, a leading developer in the build-to-rent, single-family rental home industry. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is ideal for candidates in public who are looking to transition into industry.

Duties / Job Responsibilities:

The Tax Senior is an experienced professional who works in the Family Office to support the families’ private investments along with the business units. The Family Office outsources its tax preparation function to a Big 4 service provider.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with federal tax planning initiatives and special projects
• Model short and long-term tax forecasts
• Support the day-to-day aspects of U.S. federal and tax compliance for individuals, trusts, and U.S. partnerships holding real estate assets
• Coordinate with other accounting and operational areas to provide tax advice
• Keep current on U.S. tax law changes that may impact both the business and family entities

Education and Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• CPA and Masters in Tax preferred
• 3+ years of relevant experience; Real estate and Partnership tax experience a plus
• Knowledge of trust taxation and estate planning a plus
• Detail-oriented individual who takes ownership of projects, exercising initiative and follow-through
