About the Talent & Culture Advisor Role
The Talent & Culture Advisor will provide own all employee lifecycle related matters associated with supporting employees at BST. Working closely with leadership as well as stakeholders at all levels, this role drives BST’s Talent Experience by partnering and providing the day to day support to all of BST’s people-centric strategies as needed including talent development, onboarding, compliance and total rewards, employee engagement and file maintenance.
In this role, you will:
· Partner with the Line of Business Leaders on the implementation, administration and management of people-centric strategies, processes, and systems throughout the organization to build and maintain a culture of success, accountability, transparency and collaboration
· Be a trusted advisor and coach to all employees
· Develop and enhance user experience of our Talent system (Paylocity), including one-stop-shop resource center, benefit management, employee recognition, performance management and professional development
· Improve and support our talent management processes that drive high performance and engagement
· Champion the talent experience and onboarding process to align with BST’s “why” and strategic priorities
· Lead the BST Community and Employee Engagement Committee
· Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialist by participating in the interview and evaluation process and by providing recommendation and guidance to the hiring managers
· Ensure legal compliance throughout employee life cycle
· Spearhead employee engagement activities and assist the leaders of BST’s Energize our Culture building block to execute firm-wide initiatives
· Assess learning development needs; recommend and implement training programs
· Assist with drafting and sending Talent & Culture related correspondence; preparation and distribution of documents and other materials as needed
· Manage the offboarding process including exit interviews
· Report to management and provide decision support through metrics
· Provide strategy and initiative updates
To be successful in this role, you will bring with you:
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
· Minimum of five years of human resources experience
· PHR or SHRM-CP, preferred
· A solid understanding of current employment law and the ability to learn and follow new developments
· Experience with Human Capital Management Systems (Paylocity)
· Strong computer skills with an outstanding knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
· Excellent written, verbal and follow-through skills
· Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment
· Ability to establish relationships and communicate effectively
· Initiative to work independently on routine as well as complex matters
· Display great time-management skills and the ability to prioritize workload
· Results oriented; display a commitment to exceed internal customer expectations
· Familiarity working with confidential documents and data
